Native to Australia, Melaleuca Quinquenervia is in the myrtle family and has been used for hundreds of years by the Aboriginal people of Australia. Also commonly known as Niaouli, this species is closely related to Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), and offers many of the same features and benefits. Like Tea Tree essential oil, Melaleuca Quinquinervia essential oil is highly regarded for its cleansing properties with topical applications for skin, hair, and nails. In addition, it is known for its ability to effectively neutralize unwanted odors, making it a great addition to home cleaning recipes!
IDEA! Add 2–3 drops of Melaleuca Quinquenervia to a spray bottle with water and a splash of white vinegar for a simple, fresh-smelling surface spray. It’s a great way to naturally freshen countertops, bathrooms, and high-touch surfaces!
