We are here to share our stories and the solutions that have worked. We are 3 women who have been focusing on how we can help ourselves through wellness ways for years and have had success with our issues around perimenopause and menopause.

We will share both the wellness steps we took and the supplements that made a difference.

Reclaim Your Energy with Laura

Laura’s story:

Look, I literally HAVE RECEIPTS that show I have conquered the energy code!

My fitness watch tracks my Body Battery, the level of energy reserves I have available.

The top graphic shows my battery a year ago – the white ball shows my energy at the end of the day. I bottomed out EVERY DAY. EVERY. DAY.

I didn’t even KNOW you could end the day with energy left until I was chatting with Denae and Natalie who also have the same watch. Natalie was saying her battery charges more while sleeping if she goes to bed with 20 or more points left in her battery.

WHAT?? (Yep, my response!) I didn’t even KNOW that was possible! Good lord, I usually bottomed out by 2:00!

That was last January. I knew I had a new goal to work toward!

The graph here shows my average battery as of late. I believe this was from a couple of weeks ago.

Not only do I almost always end the day with energy, I charge MORE during the nights when I’m sleeping.

I feel SO MUCH BETTER AND I have learned what is especially draining and what you can do to preserve your own battery.

Lifestyle Tips:

Tip #1: Get good sleep:
If you want to work on this one, watch Natalie’s video on sleep. She covered everything I did. I add one more idea in this video.
Tip #2: True Relaxation: Not just numbing out but truly stimulating your parasympathetic system.
Tip #3: Exercise + Fresh Air:
And break it up throughout the day. Get outside and move your body, even for just 10 min.
Tip #4: Cut back on caffeine, sugar & alcohol:
Pay attention to what you do and track how you feel. For example, I drink tea. I have one cup of black tea in the morning. I used to have a cup of green tea after lunch. I now have it before lunch.
Tips #5: Honor your energy:
If you are tired, rest. Don’t adrenalize to push through.

      Better Sleep with Natalie

      Natalie’s story:

      I have had interrupted sleep for decades — since the beginning of my pregnancy — and now gets better sleep than I have in soooo long!

      My tips for you include lifestyle tips, bedtime tips, and a few products that help a lot. Plus a bonus tip for having a partner who’s a noisy sleeper! (And it’s NOT having separate bedrooms!)

      Lifestyle Tips:

      Tip #1: Exercise:
      A little exercise & fresh air can help your sleep.
      Tip #2: True Relaxation: Taking time each day to truly relax, especially before bed can make all the difference..
      Tip #3: Hydrater: Keeping yourself well-hydrated will help you sleep so much better.

       

      BEDTIME TIPS: Setting the stage ahead of time:

      1. Start the Diffuser: Get your diffuser started 30 min ahead of time to get the room infused with calming oils.
      2. Dim Lighting & Screens:  Turn down your lights and either darken your screens or turn them off altogether.
      3. Choose Calming Content: Whatever you watch or read before bed, make sure it’s a calming subject so you don’t get stimulated.
      4. Yoga | Gentle stretching: Release the tension you are holding onto from the day. Just a few stretches can make all the difference.

        Chronic pain with Denae

        Denae’s story:

        After experiencing 2 accidents, I felt back pain was going to be a part of ”the rest of my story”. And it was for 33 years. I used many methods to mitigate it such as massage, chiropractic, osteopathic manipulation, not to mention copious amounts of Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen all of which helped but I still had enough pain to limit my activities. I felt stuck in my life with pain  being a part of it.

        Then I started using Young Living Products and I felt things begin to slowly shift.

        The first product I started using was Young Living, Valor. My chiropractor and I noticed my adjustments seemed to be lasting longer.

        Then I introduced BLM and that was the ticket for me. However, since I was getting older, other things started to creep into my body. My knees began “talking to me” and since I was able to do more activities, other parts of my body started “talking” too! This brought more Young Living products into my life.         I am now blessed to have some grandchildren. I have always wanted to be the grandma that runs around and plays with them and not the one who just watches them from the sidelines.           Digestive Support with Laura

          Laura’s story:

          I have had issues with my digestion off and on for decades. A mix of food sensitivities and bouts with extreme stress turned my gut into a bit of a challenge! 🙂  It came to a head last November when I realized I was struggling with IBS.
           
          I had it once before years ago and knew that my doctor said all she could do was help manage the symptoms. I wanted to heal my gut.
           
          I also knew I was in it for the long haul – it would take months – AND I wanted to go slowly, with one or two steps at a time to see what would really work.
           

          I rolled up my sleeves and got to work! I am sharing with you the steps I knew made a difference. As I share in the video, everything I am sharing did a little.

          Tip #1: Handle My Stress:
          Something I had been doing for a long time anyway – story for another day – but it was something I knew I needed to keep working on. Stress effects EVERYTHING, especially digestion.

          Tip #2: Intermittent Fasting: To give my gut a break once a day from food.

          Tip #3: FODMAP Diet: This step was the last one and specifically for IBS. You can google it for yourself.
