The MOXIE ME CHALLENGE continues!
Soooo, what will you do THIS week?
Comment below with what your commitment to YOU is for the week!
My commitment for this week is a daily one. I commit to sitting on my yoga mat DAILY even for just a few minutes!
Last week I spread myself too thin. This week I’m committing to taking one night off to spoil myself. I’m thinking a nice long detox soak. I’m also committing to eating home cooked meals. Too much junk in lately.
Oooo! Home cooked. Yum!
I am on my way with one week down of regular meals. I also managed to sit and watch a movie one night (a weekly goal of mine). This week, I’ll keep up the healthier eating and the movie night, and My New Goal is daily meditation. I’ve done it off and on throughout my adult life, and it’s time it returned to my daily activities with real intention behind it. (The intention this year is Abundance).
Love it! And, what luck, there’s an OIL for that! 🙂
I was successful in keeping two of my actions of the week. Week two, I plan to accomplish all three. Leaving my iPad out of the bedroom has been very helpful to achieving a good night’s sleep.
Love it!
This week I am starting a 21 day sugar detox! Any oils help with that?
Citrus oils, especially grapefruit, is suppose to curb sugar cravings.
I’ve read in a reference guide that Purification is a support for sugar “addiction”
This week I will cook fron scratch more
Okay, so be more specific. What would feel successful to you? One meal a day? Three meals a week?
My goal is to establish a daily bedtime routine that will help me get at least 7 hours of quality non-medicated sleep a night.
Oooo! That’s a great one! Do you use oils to help you sleep without medication?
currently i have an arsenal to help me sleep 🙁
1. white noise machine set to rain
2. diffuser with peace and calming
3. my oil spray that Leah Day-Sanderson originally made for me. (I put in 8 drops lavendar, 4 drops joy and then fill the rest of the bottle 50/50 vodka and water)
4. and a melatonin or unisom type pill. I’m hoping to set a routine that will help me sleep without this last one every night at the very least!!
Since it takes 30 days to make a habit, I’d like to continue my commitments from last week and I added a new one.
1. Read 30 minutes before bed.
2. No technology after 10pm (on school nights).
3. No pop. Period.
4. Go to the gym 3 times per week.
5. Vegetarian meals 5 days a week.
Perfect!
I will continue to in my gratitude journal this week and drink at least 100oz of water each day with an oil of my choosing.
Yum!
I have started a weight loss competition so my goal this week is to walk at least 10,000 steps every day.
Good for you!
Moxie Week 2:
I will continue to drink 8-10 glasses of water each day (week 1 challenge)
and I will be technology free after 10:00PM each day.
I will continue my week 1 commitment, and this week I plan to get a massage (or at least the appointment, if my favorite massage therapist can’t fit me in this week) in my ongoing attempts to solve stiffness and achey joints.
Continue increased water intake and add no pop this week.
I’m going on vacation this week, so instead of running around and being a tourist, I am going to relax and enjoy the moment. The first thing I did to achieve that is cancel my trip to Disneyworld, in favor of some beach time and a sunset. And I will also not be checking Facebook as much during vacation time 🙂
Being present and accomplishing something on my to do list daily. Eating with thought. Yoga daily and running or walking or biking..(already did a 6 mile run today in sleet..wo woo) and exploring my oils more…
I’m continuing my 3 from last week (mediations, yoga time, and juice affirmations) and adding in 1-2 mini workouts/day. Love a good challenge!
My commitment this week is to drink at least 2 6 ounces of water per day.
